Abstract: The geometry of the moduli space of four dimensional superconformal theories is uniquely constrained by complex geometry and it thus represents an ideal set up for a bottom up classification program. Recently, great progress has been made in relating the geometric data to the field theoretic one. I will provide an update on the program, explain these new results and outline a variety of open questions.
